Sell Out Hang Out!

*shakes hands* "Hey, you're the guy that camwhored in the Cheras Selatan TGV right?"said Yeo Joon Han referring to this post. I felt deeply embarassed.
Since I watched Sell Out, I couldn't really get You're Not My Type outta my head. It's just addictive. Since the cast are having a hang out + screening session on Saturday, I decided I should go with some of my friends to meet up with some of the cast. Knowing that Chye would be there as well made me want to go. It's been awhile since I met this talented man.
Cut the long story short, we reached TGV KLCC at about 3p.m. The stated time was actually 3p.m. but it was already 3.15p.m. and no sign of Sell Out anything. We thought, "Hmm! Maybe they suddenly decided to not come and we didn't know". Then some people holding the Sell Out posters came walking in and all. So being friendly, I decided to approach them and introduce myself a little. Pau Ling (not sure of the spelling), together with a man gave me some tickets to my friends. She then told me that the man behind her was Yeo Joon Han. I had no idea because all the while I thought the one in the film was the director, whom you can see in the trailer. The thought-to-be director appears at the end when he said people who do musicals should be chopped into 18 pieces. We had a good laugh.

They were selling the soundtrack, the long-awaited one. It was sold at a very reasonable price. How can I not get one right? The cast signed the CD for me and once again, I had to do what I do best - Camwhore. Not really, but you see, you need to take pictures to record everything. It's the best tool, ain't it? I just have to say that I totally love The Bad Song. It sounded like some Disney princess song when she's waiting for her prince and she starts singing. It's so well-sung as well. Of course, You're Not My Type that's just too addictive to stop listening to it. My ears are bleeding now. *Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding ear*

With Jerrica, the funny!

Yes, I get to watch Sell Out again. It was still as hillarious as I first saw. Only difference was, I was able to pick up some different stuffs along the way that I missed previously. It's just damn funny. Kudos to Joon Han for his well-written film. Can't wait to see another one from him. I bet it's gonna be something good.
Before the screening, Calvin told me that the cast are gonna hang out at Chilis after the screening and asked if I would like to join. Since I haven't had lunch OR dinner, so I thought what the heck. We were planning to have Chilis anyway. So we hung out at Chilis for dinner after that. We got to talk to the cast about the film and all. It was fun to know the behind-the-scenes stuff. That just reminded me of NIDA (I miss it too). You know what's so great about this? It's a moment where it made my fire and passion for acting to grow even greater, seeing that it's definitely possible to have this in Malaysia. The cast were very down-to-earth and friendly, AND funny. I think I'm more diva than them. It was really fun!

Hanging out @ Chilis
I definitely didn't regret going for it. Getting to catch up with Calvin and Chye was also a blessing. Can't wait to meet them again. Alright, FINAL promotion:

Joon Han and Peter Davis. Do check out the trailer's director and you would
understand why it's so funny.
I lingered with my friends, got to know some of the people who were with them. It was such a great pleasure. Amongst them were Bak, Dick, McGarmoth, Yeo Joon Han himself. Then I saw Calvin and Chye, gosh I missed them. As time goes by, more casts like Peter Davis, Jerrica Lai, Wong Wai Hoong, and Zhu Hong appeared. It was nice talking to them, getting to know them a little more.understand why it's so funny.
